Here are a few tips to help you stay hydrated. Drink water frequently following these guidelines for optimal consumption:

  • First thing in the morning
  • 30 minutes prior to a meal (during  the meal only if you’re thirsty)
  • 2.5 hours after a meal (so as not to interfere with digestion)
  • Before exercising (so you have water to sweat out)
  • And throughout the day
