Brazil Brings Coconut Water To USA With Proprietary Process To Keep It Extra Fresh

A new coconut water product from Obrigado at the Natural Products Expo West 2016 in Anaheim earlier this month has plans to launch in the USA in May.

It’s billed as the freshest way to bring you coconut water aside from drinking it right out of the coconut.

The Expo was filled with brands pitching coconut-based products in everything from drinks to food to clothes.

Hear why Obrigado says its coconut water produced in the region of Conde, Bahia, Brazil is different.  The company says it uses a “proprietary precision extraction system, which keeps our coconut water from being exposed to air and light on its way to the bottle”. The process starts on the farms in Bahia Brazil with harvesting only coconuts that are in the fresh young green stage. Then the coconut water goes from “tree-to-bottle” in less than 24 hours, keeping it extremely fresh.

The company says, “We use mosaic farming to create a more balanced eco-system and healthy trees.  Each tree is bar coded and nurtured individually for traceability and purity.

No sugars are added nor is concentrated ever used in the product.

When you reach for a bottle of Obrigago® ask for it by pronouncing it right:  “Oh-bree-gah’doo” and know that you’ve just learned the word “thank you” in Portuguese, the language of Brazil.
